WordPress blogs cover millions of different topics. It’s rich in diverse media for people interested in every fetish imaginable from makeup to cars to poetry. However, I noticed that beauty related blogs are quite hard to find on our great WordPress site. I don’t think our writers and beauty bloggers are getting enough credit for the hard work and dedication they put into their beloved blogs. I would like to see beauty related topics in the ‘recommended section’ of WordPress.
If you are not familiar with the “Recommended Section”, you would simply log into your account and at the top right (where your name appears) you would click, Find Friends. That should take you to a page that looks like this:

On the right-hand side, you can see Recommended Blogs. Click it, Or just click the blue link I provided. That should bring you to this page:
No Beauty Blogs?
Notice something missing? It passes right over beauty. So, I petitioned (not really petitioned but more or less questioned) WordPress for a change. Beauty bloggers need exposure too. Some of us want to eventually do this for a living.

While we already have a Fashion section in the Recommended Blogs area, I can see how expanding it or adding in a Beauty section could service additional groups of readers!
I’ve passed on your suggestion to the department who manages the content which appears in that part of the Reader. They’ll review it and if they have any questions they will get back to you!
